80th Birthday cake. Finished in buttercream. Flower, plaque, and green pearls are made of fondant. Silk ribbon border. I should add that this cake was slapped together in record time after two quite large margaritas. It's certainly not perfect, but good enough considering it was free! :)

    May I ask, (I have been searching all over and no one ever replies) do you achieve the damask look on the base tier with a stencil? A cricut? By hand? I really love it. Any light you could shed would be amazing. TIA
