    It's very simple to do the bottom: You cut out circles. Then you fold them in half and roll them delicately into something looking like a flower. Try to roll them in variuos ways - so that they are not all the same :) Stick them to the cake starting from the bottom row :) Hope it helps!

    Here is a great tutorial: http://cakejournal.com/tutorials/how-to-make-a-gum-paste-peony-part-1/ (under the first part you have a link to part 2). The only problem was that I didn't have peony petal cutters and peony flower veiner;) so I used what I had - I had round cutters (different sizes) :)
