Love it! How did you make the ears stand up like that? Are they on a skewer?

I made them from Gum Paste and left to dry with 2 wooden toothpicks in each. When completely dry you can stick them in the cake.
The 4 toothpicks and a couple of wooden dowels in the centre are the only non-edible things in this cake!!!

love this cake. I am in the process of trying to make a Mickey Mouse Club house cake. Would you please answer a question for me. How did you support the upper top ball cake to keep it securely in place? Thanks

There are a couple of wooden dowels in the centre, running from te bottom of the cake into te top ball. The "neck" is made of gum paste to give a little extra support. Good luck!
