This is my first fondant cake.

Thanks for your comments - I was worried about trying the fondant. Yes, that is just the regular rolled fondant. I used the dowel rod to make the curly ribbons.

Very pretty. I have class tonight and we will be doing this same project....hope mine turns out as great as yours!

Just have fun-it is like playing with play-do! Tip-make sure you roll it out thin enough --mine was a little to thick (But I like how it made the bow look more 3d)
