Cake Central Magazine - December 2012, Volume 3 Issue 11 Winter Gold Wedding Section

Start of the Winter Wedding Theme (19 Winter cakes altogether). I was provided three themed photos which were included on the introduction page of the Winter Cakes. (Photo 1-2 & 4 on the left /Three Birds, Chevron Invitation Card and Gold Leaf Wreath) The key focus on their requirement was SIMPLE, ELEGANT and GOLD. I went through several sketches to try and out-do myself (since it's my first magazine cake), then I lost the whole scheme of the theme and the simplicity. SO, I came up with the following cake.
