Thank you for your comment. The billowing took a couple of hours, but I do these sort of cakes regularly. It took longer to make the little sugar buttons and paint them gold!
I just love the billowing. I have no idea how you would even begin to do this. How did you learn the technique? I have a cake to make for a relative who turns 90 in March and this would look lovely on a cake for her.
