These not so little cakes were made for my friends twin boys. The theme of the party was fish and the two fish i hand painted for the cake were based on the invitation. This was a first attempt at hand painting gum paste. The cakes were banana cake and carrot cake both with cream cheese filling.

Lessons learnt. Do not decorate cakes on 41 degree days - Slip slidey. Check the route to the venue does not have a series of 45degree hills all the way there :(
