In: cakesbyRaewyn's photoset in album: Christmas
I know everyone is probably sick of seeing Christmas cakes, but I’ve only ever made 2 and really wanted to share this one with you all :)
I made this little guy for our big family Christmas gathering. I had already decorated a fruit cake in a more traditional style, so this was to make the kids smile. It was a bit difficult to find volunteers to chop him up though, as he really did look like he was pleading to be set free haha! :)
He is white chocolate mud with white chocolate ganache.
Thanks so much for looking :) xx

He is fab, lady! Did you carve him, or bake him that shape?

Thanks Autumnal and Lesley! He started life as a white choc mud I carved to use your gorgeous Santa Tutorial Lesley, but ran out of time to print and all that so he ended up being a SUPER fast little Christmas Owl lol!! I've been loving seeing all the cakes of your tute and so annoyed I ran out of time but I suppose it's that time of year! I'll have to start earlier next year...and buy myself the right pan ;) xx
