mariavictoria, thank you so much...it was a lot of fun! The collar is fondant rolled out and shaped...since this was my first cake, my lesson learned with the collar is that I should have stuffed the collar to provide support. I'll use wax paper in the future. The tie is equal amounts of each color fondant rolled out about a 1/4". You want it pretty thick so that you can manipulate the tie fairly easily. Then cut the different colors in diagonal strips and roll them together.
