Birthday cake I made for one of my sisters. This cake is a brown sugar cake, filled with dulce de leche buttercream, covered in vanilla buttercream. The flowers, buttons, bows, border are made out of modeling chocolate.
For the buttercream ... you just add prepared dulce de leche to your buttercream until you're happy w/ the flavor. I use an Italian meringue buttercream, and I made the dulce using the baked condensed milk method.
