Giant 3D midnight blue and silver Christmas Bauble! It stands 45cm (1 & 1/2 feet) tall, and is made from Milk Chocolate mud cake with milk chocolate ganache as filling. The bauble is painted with luster dust, the details on the snowflakes are hand painted. Everything is edible, bar the supports.

    WOW! 1 1/2 feet tall! First I ever saw an ornament cake that big. Kudos to you. How did you do that with the center of gravity so high?

    Ddon - Thanks, It's all about the structure, get that right and you're home and hosed. Imagenthatnj - No, I've never done a class with Michelle Rea, would love to though! I worked out the structure myself and then put it together. It wasn't hard to do, just time consuming. Zespri - Thanks, I love the colours midnight blue and silver... reminds me of the sky at night with the inky blue sky and bright twinkly stars. :D .. I'm sure you'll learn lots of useful tips with Michelle.
