I think this is the 1st time I used fondant on a cake. This cake was for a 'tween' girl's birthday. They wanted something 'girly', and DID NOT want it to say 'Happy Birthday'. I used some kind of candy clay kit to make the nail polish, glasses, lipstick and phone. I can definitely say I am not too fond of working with fondant.
