In community album: Baby Shower
I made this cake for a friend who is having a traditional Indian naming ceremony celebration for her new baby boy. I came up with the concept of "showered with love" and tried to tie in some Indian design elements. The cake is covered in fondant with fondant accents and buttercream dots. The elephant and hearts are fondant as well. Thanks for looking!

Really cute! Is there anywhere I can find instructions on how to make that adorable elephant? Thanks.

Thanks Kathy! All I really did to make the elephant was roll out one big ball, then roll a part of it to extend a nose, then I just flattened it and shaped it the way I wanted it, cut a slit for the legs and added a tail, ears, smile and dots for the eyes. It only took about 15 minutes to make. If I ever make another one I'll be sure to take pics of the step by step.
