Stacking round cakes cut in half together.. I staggered the sizes down .. this thing just grew and grew .. It was really a big, big cake!! LOL

...except in Steel Magnolias it was red velvet cake...and the armadillo looked like it was bleeding all over the place! That's one of my favorite movies of all time. Great cake.

I had to do an armadillo a few years ago too..red velvet, but mine had to ACTUALLY bleed when the groom cut off the head (raspberry coulis) Mine ended up huge too...yours look great! Mine was...interesting...:)
