Cake Club! Elcee, you are so talented! I have nothing for you except letting you know what a cute little boy you made.

Cake Club. So appealing. If I was being really picky I would suggest a couple of thumbs but you get away without them.

From the Cake Club: Great interpretation of the invitation! What a cute boy and little flowers! I can't see where you'd do something different.

Cake Club - Love the cake and all the detail. I can see why you loved doing this one. The little boy and flowers are so cute. After looking at all the different views (doesn't show in this one); and I want to stress I really had to look, there are a couple of the smaller circles that appear ever so slightly stretched. Terrific job!

The only thing I would have wished to see on the cake would have been light green circles on the cup. This was about the only element of the invitation design that was not carried onto the cake or interpreted in some way with fondant. Are you SURE that cup isn't real? The finish on that is amazing!

Cake Club: Noting to add. It is absolutely adorable and exectued wonderfully.

Thanks for the nice words, everyone! High praise indeed, comeing from all of you! cazza1, the hands are one of the things I was less pleased with on this cake. Definitely need to work on those :). Apti, the cup was finished with a glaze of vodka and corn syrup. The reason for the bubbles is because the top edges were a little uneven.

Cake Club: Darling! You already know the hands need work, so I won't say it again...lol.

The finish on the cup looks real. Other than the hands - I have nothing. Super cute :)

Cake Clubber: That cup is da bomb! So shiny, it looks real. Baby is a cutie and the rolled roses are sweet. Ditto on the thumbs but maybe they're inside the cup ;) Right? Really nice colors, too.
