This was my son's 17th birthday cake. He loves the ZOO YORK brand scate boards and his dads family is from New York So I did a tribute to both. The New york skyline is made of royal icing. Skyline is not geographically correct. Sorry bout that. No disrespect. The Zoo York Emblem is fondant with royal icing to make the plaid design exact like his shirt. I made him a little skate board out of fondant and the JT (my son's nick name) loves new york apple is Rice crispy treat dipped in candy melts nad hand painted with red gel. Thanks for looking.
