    Awesome. Would you mind sharing details? Is skirt fondant or buttercream? Did you use a heart cutter for the "bodice"? Dragees for the pearls?

    Love the curve of the bodice! I've made something similar twice and they never looked quite right. Now I know why.

    Thank you so much for your lovely comments.
    I used half fondant and half flower paste (squires) I used a heart cutter and cut the bottom off. I then cut out 2 circles using 2 sizes using the frilled edge. I used a ****tail stick to pleat the skirt (rolling back and forth) The skirt was made first whilst the bodice hardened. I stuck it onto the skirt, then added edible pearls.     I can vouch for Lilly, her tutorial for these cupcakes is fantastic. She has some wonderful ideas. I recreated these from her original tutorial too (with full credit to Lilly) very effective.
