Bee-Hive Cake
This was my first try with this cake. The recipe called for marizipan but I used Fondant and i guess it was too heavy cause it started to slide. Anyhow, the birthday girl LOVED it and I still think the bees came out adorable!

I did this cake once and just used yellow frosting....just went around and around using one of the bigger tips...love the bees!
read the thread on this! LOL! it is cute! love the bees....they make it even "cute"-er. (hmm wonder if they've progressed beyond honey to mead (alcohol made from honey!)
jodes that is an excellent idea. i'll try that next time.
This is really cute, try using a crumb coat of buttercream for the fondant next time and that might help with the sliding. The bees are the buzz around town,
