Daughter's 10Th Birthday
My daughter requested this cake for her birthday after seeing one on CC, though mine didn't turn out quite as nice as the ones on CC, my daughter loved it. Thanks to all for the inspiration! (The 10 pink dots at the top were to stick the candles in)

Thanks guys! It was carved from a sheet cake lovescakes. I had intended to round it out a bit more to make it more 3d and not so flat, but was in such a rush that I forgot.

Did you use the star tip for the hair? Mhy daughter picked this cake to do for her birthday this weekend so I am going to give it a try. I hope it turns out half as good as yours. This horse is beautiful. Thanks for the help!
Thanks for your comments Rhiannon1979, yes, I did use the star tip for the mane. I think the only thing I would do differently would be to round out the edges and define the jaw-line a little more. Good luck with your horse!
