You are so talented, it is unbelievable! I have all your books... ok, both of them, when are you going to write some more please???? All the best, from Germany. P.S. Fancy coming over to give some courses?
Thanks, all! Hi, Gingerbread from Germany, I would love to come visit though my budget is slim right now - I just completed a cookie decorating video series, which I'm going to be launching in a few days and that drained my pocketbook for the time being. I'm excited to announce the series though. Once I get that out the door, I'll be starting on the next book. Any topics you'd like to see covered more than others?
Hi, Beavie. I'll be posting info about my videos on my Facebook page/site in a day or so; there's one video that needs to be re-uploaded and then I'll be ready to officially announce. For the cutters, I used a basic 3-4-inch teardrop with the tip cut off (for the vase itself) and assorted, smaller fluted rounds, teardrops and daisies (for the flowers, leaves, and lips and bases of the vases), most drawn from Ateco graduated cookie cutter sets.
Not too long, Denise. The marbling of the flowers and the stenciled pattern on the two end vases go pretty quickly. Just the needlepoint effect on the center vase and the assembly of them take time. The latter is mostly drying time, though, so I can do other things while the cookie flowers and leaves set onto their mounts.
I have the most recent book. I want to try the wreath and the holly ornaments. They are so pretty!!!! You are very talented and your books make it so easy. They are very well written and well explained.
P.S. Fancy coming over to give some courses?
Will you be posting a link for those of us not on Facebook?
