I LOVE your 3-D embellishments on the top layer! Are the ruffles buttercream or fondant?? And, what did you use to cover your board with? Right into my fav's this goes! Wonderful job!

thanks for the compliments. The ruffles are half gumpaste/half fondant. I rolled out this dough and cut it with the PME(brand name) garrett frill cutter. You can search for that at www.globalsugarart.com or phone them, the number is on the website. the garrett frill is only used to make these kinds of ruffles for cakes, for ruffles on clothes on edible people, etc. Once u cut out the dough, u need to "frill" it with a Dresden tool or toothpick. Cakeboard:green foil from any cake decorating supplier.
