This is my husband's birthday cake. He is a doctoral student in music and a musician. I wanted to do something besides the standard black and white for music, so I did this to match the napkins I bought. It is a 10" round chocolate cake and 8" round white cake with buttercream icing, buttercream piped music symbols and a gumpaste G-clef.
