I dried the images and raised them up off the cake to make it look kind of like a pop up book. My usual crack from moving the cake once airbrushed!! Makes me soooo mad!

Yep, that looks like pretty darn thick cardboard. Aggravating, huh! (But you don't even notice.) Great idea on popping up the images. Very cute cake.
Darling cake! Can't really see the crack from here..... I use the 1/2 crisco and 1/2 butter and mine doesn't do this. It has to be the icing, doesn't it??????????? IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!
Great pop up book idea, tip on the cardboad strength use 3 layers and alternate the "grain"
