Emma's Confirmation - May 2006
Made this before I knew about dowels and using a cakeboard under the top cake when stacking. I just covered both cakes in fondant and put the smaller cake on the top and attempted cornelli lace. The cake was a hit with all the people there who did not know any better. LOL!! It is an Almond Semolina cake - 12 inch and 8 inch.
Looks just fine (and didn't suffer any ill effect from no dowels) Hit with the people, good job!
