I just cut out his basic shapes, arms, legs, tail and head and covered each piece in fondant. I put him in a laying down position so he would stay in place, his head is very large. Shaping the cake is the hardest but with covering it in fondant hides a lot of the flaws. His colors are so basic too. I covered everything in black and then went over the black with the white. For his facial expressions I used one of those edible markers.
