WOW!!! Your cake is unbelievable!!! Awesome job!! Can you please tell me what kind of cake you use to make a 3d sculpture cake? Can I use a box mix or does it have to be homemade? If it has to be homemade, what is the best recipe to use so it doesnt fall apart when carving? And what buttercream recipe do you use? Thanks!!!!
Yes, you can use a cake mix, I like the durable recipe from here and the BC I used is the one that has emulsified shortening from here too but any crusting BC will be fine.
