This is a chocolate amaretto cake with chocolate buttercream icing. I did this for the February birthdays at my husband's work and made a smaller one for the two of us.

I added amaretto to a regular cake recipe and chocolate buttercream recipe instead of water, I also used the amaretto syrup recipe on this site. I loved the way it tasted. The groom's cake at our wedding was this flavor, so my husband was looking forward to me trying to re-create it.
