Made these for my Daughter's 4th Birthday party this weekend.She is having a Fairy party.I used the Wilton Comfy grip butterfly and covered it with white fondant and airbrushed...Delicious!!!
Fondant is definitely easy and quick and it looks so neat and clean and perfect BUT I don't care for the texture or the taste that much (that goes for ALL brands). But if I'm not personally eating the cookies, then I like to use fondant for decorating because it creates a beautiful background.
Yes..You cut out the fondant with the same cuter...wet the top of the cookie slightly with gel or water and place the fondant ontop and gently smooth out.

I used the fondant here from the local wholesaler .It is from Dawn Foods and is called Decorrice.Tastes like cotton candy.

How did you cover your cookies with fondant? Did you take your cookie cutter and roll out the fondant and cut out a butterfyl?
