Purple Cake
This is a white cake with strawberry filling. I frosted it with the Whipped Cream Buttercream recipe from this site. It was my first time trying that recipe and I really like it! For the decorations, my original plan was to try making my own hard candy to make decorations that would look like amethyst jewels.... but sort of by experimental accident I made my experimental version of pulled sugar decorations. So, here's the result!
