In album: french
The top (bun) was a 9" layer of cake, on a cake board. Middle of burger was pound cake. Bottom (bun) was the other 9" layer of cake. Used cylinder 'plastic' dowels in middle, as I recall, to hold weight of top cake.I put a dowel through entire cake, so no slippage while transporting. I punched out all the sesame seeds from G.P. flower cutter; then airbrushed them for 2-toned effect. Also, airbrushed the bun. The lettuce, tomato, and onion were made from fondant. French fries were fondant and airbrushed

Wow looks realistic, did you use a real fries carton or did you make that as well?

Thanks KarenOR for uploading this for me. I will take your advise and try to load the jpeg of this myself, also. Thanks for the nice remarks everyone. (KarenOR said C.C. only allows so many characters under pict.) Ursula40, yes the carton is G.P. (2 hrs. to make). Whopper took me 10 hrs. I'm a slow decorator ! I used sanding sugar for the salt on fries. Icing on bun is a non-dairy 'commerical' icing, just use spatula to spread. It's delicious !
