I need alot of practicing, but this is my very first attempt at making a tootsie roll rose...I'm more impressed with the fact that I haven't eaten it yet!

Are you saying you made that from a tootsie roll...Like the choc, tootsie roll? Really nice, can you explain?
Tolinda 3/6/07 at 11:53pm
that looks really good! and i'd like to know how you could make such a beautiful rose with a tootsie roll!
Tide89 3/8/07 at 1:06pm
I would love to know how to do that as well!! That is beautiful!

It's really the same process as using fondant, candy clay, etc. but I didn't use any tools, I just molded the petals out by hand. If you have any of the Wilton yearbooks there are really good instructions on how to make a rose with Candy Clay that is pretty much just what I did. If anyone still has any problems/questions on how to make one then you can PM me and I will try to get into more detail to help!! Thanks so much for all of the wonderful comments!

This is nice. I've made tootsie roll roses out of the different colored mini ones.
