Baby Shower Squares
I've done squares a million times, so it seems, but this was the first full sheet cake I had to do. I would have used a yard stick to make the lines, but can't find it, so I had to eyeball all the lines since the longest thing I could find to put on the cake was a 12" ruler. Any suggestions on how you do your lines would be appreciated!!!
Your cake is really cute. I have seen at the local bake shop a piece of plastic that is marked off in squares that you press on top of cake to mark off. Not sure who makes it.
Wow, that looks like a lot of work! Maybe next time you need to do lines you could set the cake on top of a piece of clear contact paper (w/the backing grid lines up) and mark the lines with a long piece of string? Just a thought.
