Your design is very pretty! I love daisies and baby blue. I have a suggestion on how to get the stringwork perfect. Make an impression with the lip of a glass and trace it with the icing. Use 2 different glass sizes.

Very pretty big cake, I like the blue color. Only critisism would be that you can see the filling bulging a bit but I am not one to judge much since I am still new too!!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm new at this too and it's always good to get other people's opinions so I can do better next time.

very beautiful. i notice the top isn't quite level, when that happens to me, i just compensate with more flowers on top, etc i love the daisies and color

I think your cake is awesome. I've only tried a 2-tier and a 3-tier. I have a whole new appreciation for them. I love your colors and your daisies compliment so well. Great job!

Thanks. I always have difficulty getting the cakes exactly even. The flowers on top is a good trick. I'll ahve to keep it in mind. :-)

your cake is beautiful - i really like it!! did you use a plate atop each tier, or did you use the pillars that push all the way through the tier?

Thanks. I used the Tall Tier Cake Stand by Wilton. It can accomodate six cakes - 6 in to 16 in. I didn't use all the layers. It has a twist together center column. You have to core the center of each cake before you screw the columns together.

That glass idea is a good one Krissy....I have that Wilton swag marker, and it works ok too. I do my stringwork in the same color as the icing and the imperfections don't show as much. GREAT cake shenyd!!!!! I haven't tackled four tiers yet! Only three :-)
