This was my first attempt at a cc cake. It was really fun, and thanks to Cali4dawns tutorial it was really simple to do. The buttercream transfer was my 2nd try. This was for daycare, celebrating the week of the young child, the castle is like the daycare's logo.

That came out awesome! I like the shape too...reminds me of clouds like a castle in the clouds.

Cali4dawn has a great tutorial for BC transfers, that's where I learned how.

Did you cut the cake to that shape? It's adorable! You did a wonderful job, but then all of your cakes look really great!

It's shaped like that because it's made out of cupcakes, lined up in staggered rows and then frosted w/ larger icer tip.

The more I see of cc cake, the more I am looking for an excuse to try one. Same goes for BCT. This one looks fantastic! I can't believe it was only your second try. Great job.
