Scooby Doo Cookies

Scooby Doo Cookies on Cake Central

I made these cookies for my daughter's birthday party. The kids loved them (some of the adults too)! I used the No Fail Sugar Cookie Recipe and antonia74's icing. I was short on time (to allow drying), so I put all of the black details first and then filled in with the brown. Next time I think I will try the brown first and then go back and add the detail.

Thanks everyone. I did use a cookie cutter. Wilton has a Scooby Doo cookie kit (I got mine at Michaels). The only thing I used from the kit was the cookie cutter though. Good thing I had a 40% off coupon. (It also comes with icing and sugar decorations for the eyes, nose and mouth).

They truly are awesome! I don't think you should do them differently if you do them again sometime...they way you did it gives it a little more dimension, I think, than you would get if you did them brown first and then the black. They're PERFECT!
