This is a Mardi Gras cake that I made at the last minute after my bite-size cakes flopped. I'm pretty happy with it. I need to work on my skills at filling in large spaces with icing but other than that I'm happy with it.

Technically it's on the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday, so it would be tomorrow. But most of the festivities were held over this past weekend.
