Harry Potter cake for my neice. I made each of the scarves for the houses on the side of the cake and the sorting hat on top. I wanted to use the wondermold on an 11x15 but my sister waited till the last minute to set the party date.
Thanks guys! I used the mini wondermold, put a marshmallow on top and another 1/3 of a marshmallow on top of that so the top of the hat would stay up. I used toothpick to keep them in place. Then covered with fondant. It also helped that the fondant didn't have to be perfect. Then I made some patches to put on the hat as well. I formed the features once I had the fondant on. I also let the bottom of the hat dry overnight with spoons under the sections to give it a wave. Then I set it on the cake. pm...
