Wedding Cookies on Cake Central

My first attempt at decorated cookies! I had alot of fun with these. Can't wait to make more.

I love them! I have made some very similar. I have to make 160 plus for a wedding this Summer. I have used the no fail recipe and antonia's royal icing recipes and also fondant for the background sometimes. I was wondering if that was what you used on these? They look so pretty!! Any tips or hints?

Thank you so much! I didn't have my lap top so I had to use a recipe from my Better Homes and Gardens cookbook and plain ol' royal icing. I want to try Antonia's recipe though. The thing I need to work on is getting the dough rolled even-going to get guides for my rolling pin! If you are making different designs, have them planned out. I winged it and it seemed to take forever! If I think of anything else I'll PM you! Thanks again.

Thank you! I am practicing to see which designs I can do well that also take the least amount of time since I will be decorating them all in one day or so and then having to package them up when they dry after a day or so. I am looking forward to it! I have until July, so I am getting the designs down like you said. That is a good idea, I agree! :) You are off to a wonderful start for this being your first time. They look so nice! I haven't done a whole bunch of cookies yet, but I'd like to give it a try. These look awesome! I'd love to try these designs!

dodi, these are beautiful and a lot better than my first try...I had the SAME problem with trying to roll out the dough evenly...Where do you buy pin guides? Thanks
