This idea came from a little Betty Crocker dessert idea book.  I think it turned out really cute!  I made it for a silent auction to raise money for  a nearby college.  The "sand" was made out of brown sugar.

yes this is one cake mix (store bought) and i just traced my own flip flop onto paper then cut two out of one rectangular cake (9 x13)

i love this cake. i am having a lula for my daughters 5th birthday and i am using alot of flip flops for dec. so i think that is perfect. where did you find the cut out for the flip flops?
