Well, this is the finished cake. My son didn't want anyone to cut into the monkey's head (yellow cake), so I sat it on top of a round cake with the logo around the side. The monkey is covered in MMF. The head is actually cake. The body is a paper towel tube covered in MMF. Learned quite a few lessons here! Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Incredible, how on earth did you manage to keep the head on? I'd have gone crazy with the thought of the head falling off. WOW is the only thing I can think of saying

No lessons, but I would love some!! There's a dowel through the head into the bottom cake. I did not move it once it was on. Amazed that it didn't fall off!!!
