My First "whimsy" Cake
Vanilla and chocolate cakes with BC with fondant accents. I'm not feeling very confident about this...and I'm hoping my sister in law will like it. Any feedback is appreciated! The curlieques were a booger to add... I'm glad I made waaaay to many because I've had quite a few break on me!
I love the colors...... good job...I really need to do a whimsy...

she will love it! it's just fun and festive, it practically screams birthday. i've done curlieques before, and yes they do break (grrr)
I was just scrolling thru the latest uploads and your's caught my eye. Nice job. Just a suggestion for your curls - I made my first cake with curls a few weeks ago. It is in my pictures. I used some royal icing and attached lollipop sticks to the inside of the curls and then was able to stick them into the cake with out breaking the curls.
