I am finding that coloring MMF with too much color really messes up the consistency of the fondant...anyone know how to color fondant and still keep it really smooth? Anyway...airbrushed the black shoulder but hand painted the face.
I had some luck with red and black by working in LOTS of Crisco. I used it to make objects...didn't try covering a cake with it, so I can't vouch for its stretchability. But, the extra Crisco made it workable.

This is one great cake! How did you do the face plate?
The silver is white fondant painted in silver dust...the black is hand painted. :-)
Great job! I haven't used MMF so I can't advise!
