Oreo Cake

Oreo Cake on Cake Central

I did this cake for my manager who loves oreos. Took a 10" and cut it in two then put an 8" in between. Iced the bottom layer and the middle before putting on the top. Used chocolate buttercream that I made and a lot of oreos as models - some got eaten along the way.....

My little brother would LOVE this cake! But then again he wouldn't share just like when we were kids! GREAT job!

thanks for the support - the "cookie" part was chocolate cake and the "cream" part was vanilla with some crumbled cookies in it. Oreos of course! lol

Wow, this is one cool cake. Your manager didn't try and split it and scrape the middle out did he??

no dowels - the cake pretty much supported itself. I only filled it with some bc in between the layers

I used a 10" cake to make it and according to wilton it is 38 servings. However, we cut big, I think I got 20-24 from it.

What more can be said about this incredible cake? You did an amazing job-and it looks picture perfect, and delicious. I bet this was one of those that were extremly hard to cut-I don't think I could ever do it, as it's such a fine cake
