This is just a practice cake to give me an idea of what I want to do for a friend's baby shower on March 4th. I had an extra 6" cake in the freezer and decided to play around with it today. My daughter just had a baby boy last Saturday, so I will take this cake to her tomorrow.

I love it, you did a great job, does freezing a cake dry it out or is it just as moist, I have some in the freezer also and im not sure if they will be okay to use or not

I have read on CC that many people feel freezing makes the cake more moist. I had these 2 layers in the freezer for about 2 weeks. Seemed fine when I unwrapped it.
