Cupcakes for daughter's Kindergarten class. Got the idea of hens from Good Housekeeping. Used a boiled frosting for the hens, when it dried it was easier to eat than hardened royal icing and held up better than a glob of buttercream in the sun (outdoor party in the South). The nest is made of canned chinese noodles.
