I just saw the figure alone...I love it with the cake. It looks great & sounds really good too. I bet she loved it!

TY... A wooden BBQ Skewer from the leg to the waist. The gumpaste is a recipe from Nicholas Lodge and it dries very quick so the figure sets in position fast.

Haven't worked with gumpaste yet, how hard was it, great job by the way, bet your neice really got a "kick" out of her cake

LOL yes she did...I used to use sculpy clay with my girls when the were young all the time to make things. I have alot of books on clay critters and clay projects from those days. The gumpaste is very quick to dry so you have to work fairly quick.
