Not a FBCT. I put two pics together to make this image. I print up the size I want and then poke holes through the outline. Then I put the paper on the the cake and poke the holes again, then you just connect the dots. It's time consuming, but I get a better defined image that way. My FBCT's don't look so great, so until then, I'll do it this way.
Wow this is amazing, love your method. After you connect the dots how do you fill in with the color? Is is just buttercream? It looks shiny. I'd love to try a cake like this.
I just use BC and tips #2 thru 8, depending on the area I'm filling in. Then I use a toothpick to blend it in so it doesn't look like snakes. I've recently gotten a KopyKake projector, so I haven't used this method lately. But you can definitely get a nice picture by "poking" holes. It just takes up a lot of time.

great job! the colours almost look like piping gel due to translucency, but when i saw the description all BC, that's even better! i'm doing a dora cake this weekend... i hope mine turns out as well! :)
Great work! A customer is asking me for a Dora, Diego and a cat cake. Do you think you could send me a link to where you found these pictures? I have been searching and haven't found the right combination and this would be perfect! Thanks
Wonderful details on this cake! Love the colors. Great job!
Great cake. Did you use air brush for the background?
The background is a can spray. I hope to get an airbrush soon!!!
I love it! My son is way into Dora and I am looking for something with Diego to do for his birthday. Is this a BC Transfer? It looks so perfect!
