Mmf Roses - First Try
After much reading and research I decided to give roses a try. I think that they look OK from the top, but from the side they remind me of pinecones!! Please tell me what I could have done better or differently so that my work improves! I didn't have any tylose to add to the fondant so I added some merangue powder instead. Next time I am going to use the tylose.
they're beautiful! nothing wrong with them at all!
I think that they look great. Once you put them on the cake you normally do not see the sides of them.
oh my gosh! I think they look awesome!!!! So does my husband!!! ;-)
i think they look great!!! can I ask, what is tylose?
i think they look pretty good!!! Don't be hard on yourself :)
you add tylose to fondant to make gum paste. I believe that it make it more firm, but still pliable.
Those Are Terrific...... You've inspired me to try it!
thanks
The look good for A 1st attempt. Try rolling the petals a bit thinner. Also allow the petals to dry hanging upside down.
