Made this cake for my son's 30th, who is computer fanatic. It was my first attempt using fondant & found it a bit harder than I thought. I'm a complete novice at decorating but I'm having so much fun learning!!!

It looks really smooth! the excess powdered sugar is easily removed with a brush, I like to use a make-up brush used for applying powder and blush. I recognized the USB sign instantly!

Thanks, that's a great idea!! Looking back though, I should have also brushed it with flower glaze, to give it a shinier effect. Oh well, we live & learn :)
