this is the cake i made for my grandma for her birthday. the "pot" is cake and the sunflower is made from gumpaste. the "tile" is marbled fondant. everything is completely edible.
awesome.......I did a flower pot cake kind of similar...........did you use fondant on the pot too??? Looks nice and smooth, awesome job! I love the marbled tiles too...........figured that was just the cake board you chose,never would have guessed it was edible......awesome!

beany, i used a wooden rod and wrapped it in fondant for the stem, the sunflower was very heavy,
